About the equipment
At Peninsula Colon Health we have invested in the top of the range colon hydrotherapy machine and technology.
The Dotolo Toxygen Model BSC-UV is a state of the art colon hydrotherapy device (also known as colonic irrigation).
It will cleanse the entire colon using filtered water with single-use disposable consumables.
The device is a “closed system” which affords a comfortable modem naturopathic procedure while maintaining the dignity of the client.
There is no open evacuation and no offensive odours.
Each treatment is therapist assisted for effectiveness and comfort.
The device comes equipped with a built-in water treatment system. It is fitted with a 3 stage water filtration system before the water passes through a UV sterilization unit.
About the treatment
At Peninsula Colon Health we take time to discuss your health and the reasons for coming for colonics. This helps us to tailor a program that suits you personally. Your very first appointment will take approximately 75 mins. Subsequent appointments take around 60 minutes.
Once your history is taken and the treatment is explained to you fully, you will lay comfortably on a massage table. A speculum is inserted into the rectum and tubing attached. This tubing is then attached to the Colon Hydrotherapy machine. Throughout the treatment, purified water enters the bowel through one tube and water and waste is released through another. There is no smell, no noise and no mess.
A qualified practitioner is with you throughout the whole procedure, altering the water temperature and activating the ‘fills’ and ‘releases’ according to how you are responding to the treatment. This optimises the results of your colonic enormously. Your abdomen is massaged with aromatherapy oils to assist in the release of as much waste as possible from the bowel wall. You can see the eliminations as they occur through a viewing tube. The therapist will ensure your comfort at all times and explain what is coming through the waste tube.
About implants
Implants are carried out during colon hydrotherapy treatments and are an effective way to aid the body in healing.
Herbs are gentle to the body and are specifically attracted to particular organs once they enter the blood stream.
In colon implants the portal blood system connects the liver with the colon so herbs implanted are carried to the liver in a few seconds improving the body’s absorption rate and providing an instant effect on the body.
